
In about March 2017 I tried to use my Groupon account again to buy something else and it failed due to unknown reasons with the same failures happening twice on different purchases in October 2017. In December 2016 my account, along with many others, was hacked and items were fraudulently bought using it however, all the money that went from my bank account was reimbursed. Groupon are getting away with this at customers cost! Even though Groupon's message says they will! What does that tell you about this company. Groupon did not credit me full amount to replace with Printerpix canvas picture and Groupon did not give me full credit for goods I paid for and did not receive. This is not experience we want you to have while using Groupon.įirstly, we will finish deal with colorland-879 and repurchasing Printerpix canvas picture with hanging kit provided 12" x 12". I sincerely apologies for the trouble caused by this delay. See their message to me which they did not honour. Yet Groupon clearly stated to me they would replace both items. The item I paid for but didn't receive cost £1.99 of which only £1.19 was credited. The replacement cost £4.79 Groupon only credited me £3.99. Then talking with another 9 agents and 5 days later Groupon had still not paid me full for either. Groupon also said they would include an item I paid for but did not receive. I cancelled a deal I bought because I wasn't happy with it Groupon kindly said they would replace the deal with another deal I wanted. I have therefore closed my Groupon account and advise others to steer clear of this company as they clearly have scams set up with retailers to get you to buy with the false promises of gift cards that they have no intention of fulfilling. I have come to the conclusion that these are fake offers. They now tell me there is no proof I made these purchases through Groupon so will not honour the offer of the giftcards. They keep telling me to contact my bank and the retailers but do not explain why I need to contact them. This has rumbled on for over 3 weeks and I have had no joy. I contacted them and have been asked to provide proof of purchase, bank statements order numbers, dates of purchase, dates of transactions with my bank, card details I used to purchase these items etc, etc. I have received the goods from the sellers but heard nothing from Groupon regarding the gift cards.

I bought 2 items on 26 December using links on Groupon with the promise to receive gift cards for spending certain amounts with Argos and Robert Dyas.
